NSure USIM is a mobile device security solution that runs inside the USIM, not on the device OS. It continuously collects the device's network, cell and radio signal state from within the USIM, and AI computes a trust score for each device in real time, responding in stages according to the risk level.
IoT devices on mobile networks, such as service robots, unmanned equipment and sensor terminals, share three structural constraints.
There is no screen or input device, and storage and compute are limited. There is simply no room for antivirus or MDM software.
Security apps run on top of the device OS. If the OS is compromised or its privileges are taken over, every security function above it goes down with it.
Devices are scattered across unmanned locations, so there is no user to notice anything unusual. When a breach happens, detection and response come late.
Once the OS is infected, rooted or hijacked, an attacker can switch off or bypass any security layer sitting on top of it.
Devices are lured onto a fake base station to intercept traffic or disrupt service.
A device's cellular identity is cloned and abused for billing fraud or impersonated access.
A hijacked device operates at times, locations or along routes outside its normal range.
The USIM is trusted hardware (a Secure Element) already present in every device. It is issued and managed by the carrier, resistant to forgery and tampering, and operates independently of the device OS.
No additional hardware. NSure USIM uses the USIM every mobile device already carries. Swapping the USIM is the deployment process.
Security logic executes inside the Secure Element. Even if the OS is compromised or bypassed, state collection and policy enforcement continue.
Because it observes network attachment state and radio signal information directly at the cellular layer, it catches threats that are invisible at the application layer.
Perimeter security and zero trust treat trust in fundamentally different ways. NSure USIM verifies the device for as long as it is in use, not just at the moment it connects.
| Aspect | Perimeter security (legacy) | Zero trust (NSure USIM) |
|---|---|---|
| When trust is decided | Once, at connection time | Continuously, throughout use |
| Basis for the decision | Credentials (who you are) | Current device state (how you are right now) |
| Anomalies after authentication | No means of detection | Detected immediately by AI and reflected in the trust score |
| Response | Block or allow | Graduated response based on risk level |
A USIM zero trust architecture developed in-house by Netcube.
Continuously collects the device's network, cell and radio signal state and watches for anomalous events. Executes response policies from the server directly, without going through the OS.
Device state data flows up; response policies and execution commands flow down. It uses the standard interfaces of the existing mobile network, so no network changes are required.
Analyzes collected data with AI to detect anomalies and continuously computes a trust score (0 to 100) for each device. Decides the response policy based on the score range.
The higher the security requirements and the more distributed and unmanned the operation, the greater the impact of USIM-based continuous verification.
Where high security requirements and unmanned operation overlap. Attempts to impersonate or hijack a device are caught early at the cellular layer.
A halted line can mean heavy losses. Because the response is graded by risk level, threats are managed without over-blocking.
Devices that move and spread across the country. Abnormal location and route patterns feed into the trust score to detect hijacking and misuse.
